Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 11, 2026. Review how we protect and manage your scheduling data.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Calendeur (accessible via calendeur.com, operated by Yazzil). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our hosts and scheduling guests. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, utilize, and protect your information when using our scheduling platform and connected integrations.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our scheduling coordination service, we collect limited, necessary data categorized as follows:
- Account Information: Profile credentials provided via Clerk Authentication, including your display name, primary email address, and avatar image.
- Connected Account Tokens: When you connect a calendar node (such as Google Calendar), we store the OAuth 2.0 credentials (access tokens, refresh tokens, and connection email) required to communicate with the provider's APIs.
- Calendar Meta-Data: We read calendar details to determine which of your connected calendar sub-nodes should be monitored for schedule conflicts.
- Booking & Guest Details: When a guest schedules an appointment, we collect their display name, primary email address, meeting notes, meeting timezone, selected slot time, and the email addresses of any additional invited participants.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly to execute the core scheduling services of Calendeur, specifically:
- Conflict Screening: We query Google Calendar Free/Busy intervals in real-time to compute and display conflict-free booking slots on your public scheduling page. We do not copy or store your busy block event contents on our servers.
- Event Publishing: Once a booking is confirmed, we write the meeting details (summary, description, time slots, and attendees) back to your primary connected Google Calendar, which automatically triggers standard email calendar invitations.
- Email Notifications: We transmit confirmation email notices to the host, the primary guest, and any CC'd participants via Resend.
- Payment Checkouts: We securely process Paid Booking transactions via the Paddle merchant gateway when configured.
4. Google API User Data & Limited Use Disclosure
Calendeur's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We only request the narrowest scopes necessary to screen calendar conflicts and write booking invites.
- We do not transfer or disclose your Google Calendar API data to any third party except as required to perform scheduling operations (e.g. sending meeting details to your Google Calendar node).
- We strictly prohibit the use of your Google API user data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or training AI models.
- User calendar content is never read, scanned, or used for any purpose other than inserting the verified meetings scheduled directly through your Calendeur booking links.
5. Data Sharing, Transfers, and Selling Restrictions
We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your personal data, particularly Google Calendar API data, to any third-party entities. Data is only transferred to external services when explicitly required to run operations you authorize, such as transmitting checkout metadata to Paddle for billing or dispatching receipts via Resend.
6. Data Protection and Encryption
We implement industry-grade technical safeguards to protect your personal details and connection credentials. All database interactions occur via secure SSL-protected (`verify-full`) connections. Access tokens and configuration blocks are shielded from unauthorized exposure.
7. User Control, Disconnection, and Account Deletion
You maintain full ownership and control over your scheduling data:
- Disconnecting Nodes: You can disconnect your Google Calendar connection at any time by navigating to Settings > Connected Accounts. This instantly and permanently deletes your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens from our database.
- Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your Calendeur account entirely and purge all stored data (profile configurations, logs, and billing logs), you can send an account deletion request to support@calendeur.com.
