Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using the Calendeur scheduling platform (accessible via calendeur.com, operated by Yazzil), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from utilizing our website or scheduling services.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access host dashboard features (e.g. creating booking templates, connecting calendars), you must create an account. You represent and warrant that:

  • All profile registration details you provide are accurate, current, and complete.
  • You will protect the security of your login sessions (managed via Clerk).
  • You will immediately notify our support team of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

3. Calendar Sync and API Access Authorization

Calendeur's core functionality relies on syncing with your external calendar nodes (such as Google Calendar). By linking a calendar account, you explicitly grant Calendeur authorization to:

  • Query free/busy blocks from Google Calendar to resolve conflict scheduling.
  • Write, edit, and insert verified booking details (summary, time, descriptions, and participant emails) back to your primary calendar when appointments are booked.
  • CC additional guests provided during booking on scheduling confirmation logs.

You retain full control and can disconnect calendar sync nodes in your settings console at any time, which completely deletes our access credentials.

4. Pricing, Paid Bookings, and Paddle Merchant Processing

Calendeur offers premium upgrades (such as Calendeur Pro limits, custom branding removal, and multi-template unlocks) and supports paid checkouts for scheduled booking slots:

  • Subscription Billing: Upgraded account plans are billed on a recurring billing cycle. All payments, subscription states, and invoices are handled securely via the Paddle merchant gateway.
  • Paid Bookings: If you configure a paid booking template (e.g., charging $100 per consultation), you acknowledge that clients will be redirected to complete Paddle checkouts before slots are verified and written to your calendar.
  • Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day refund window for all subscription plans and paid bookings. If you are unsatisfied or need a refund for a processed checkout, you must submit a request to support@calendeur.com within 14 days of the transaction date.

5. Permitted & Prohibited Usage

You agree to use Calendeur solely for scheduling coordination. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Sending unsolicited booking links (spamming) or sending malicious notes in scheduling forms.
  • Impersonating other hosts, Clerk profiles, or domains.
  • Exploiting, probing, or testing the vulnerability of our database systems or backend APIs.
  • Violating Google's API services or Paddle's merchant rules.

6. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimers

Calendeur is provided on an **"AS IS"** and **"AS AVAILABLE"** basis. We make no warranty that scheduling will be conflict-free or error-free at all times.

In no event shall Yazzil, Calendeur, its developers, or its sponsors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed meetings, calendar sync delay lags, billing transaction checkout failures, or unauthorized security breaches.

7. Governing Law and Amendments

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued usage of our website indicates your acceptance of updated terms.
